Members having the CPIM AND CFPIM professional designations need to look to certification maintenance.   Back in 1997 the APICS Board of Directors approved a certification maintenance program.   Effective Jan 1, 1998 we have the challenge and opportunity of demonstrating ongoing development and commitment to life long learning in our professional endeavors.   Every five years following initial certification, we maintain our certification status through a point system 75 points for CPIM and 100 points for CFPIM.
