The Challenges of Managing the Inbound Supply Chain
Presented by: Dr. Kirstin Huettner-Tong 

In 1998, Kirstin founded QMARK Solutions, Inc., a supply chain solutions company.  She currently serves as the company's President.  QMARK is a tactical supply chain planning company with core competencies in the areas of: network optimization, process improvement, transportation planning, and facilities planning.  The company's engineers provide support to suppliers who are integrated into the operations of Original Equipment Manufacturers in the automotive industry.  QMARK maintains its corporate office in Birmingham, Alabama.  The company's clients are located in North America, Europe, Mexico and Brazil.  Kirstin will talk about the challenges in managing the inbound supply chain for an automotive manufacturer.  She will address the complexity of defining the most efficient and effective material flow from the suppliers to the point of use.
